Aims and Scope

This forum has been organized in the Mediterranean cities such as Barcelona, Beirut, and Almeria. The MIFS has gathered hundreds of academics from all around the globe covering different disciplines in the area of social sciences and humanities.

This year the event is back at the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain in a hybrid form. It will combine in person and online sessions and will bring together scientists, professors, researchers, students, and research scholars to exchange their experiences and research results.

MIFS 2022 supports and promotes the open access concept, publishing its scientific outcome as open access publications. The academic content obtained by this event will be published as conference proceedings. A number of selected papers from the appropriate scientific discipline will also be considered for special edition publication in the following journals: European Scientific Journal (ESJ), European Journal of Educational Sciences (EJES), International Journal of Linguistics, Literature, and Culture (LLC), and European Journal of Economics, Law and Politics (ELP).

Submission

High quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in the all areas under the Social Sciences and Humanities are cordially invited for presentation at the conference. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

  • Philosophy
  • Name and email of at least 1 suggested reviewer is recommendable. However, the suggested reviewer must not have a conflict of interest.

  • Please follow the forum’s template.
  • Recommended paper length: 5-15 pages (Microsoft Word, font 12, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing).
  • All articles must be in English or Spanish. The language of the conference is English and Spanish and all presentations will be made in English or Spanish
  • All accepted papers will be published after the conference as conference proceedings with an ISBN number. However, the author can decide to submit their paper for possible publication in the European Scientific Journal (ESJ), European Journal of Educational Sciences (EJES), International Journal of Linguistics, Literature, and Culture (LLC) or European Journal of Economics, Law and Politics
  • Certificate of the presentation will be issued to participants presenting their research in online or in-person sessions.
  • Certificate of chairing a session will be issued to the chairs acknowledging their role at the conference.
  • Best Paper Award will be conferred by the Program Committee to the author(s) of the best paper presented at the conference.

Early submission: 150 EUR per paper for payments received before March 05, 2022​​​

197 EUR per paper for payments received after March 05, 2022

97 EUR per additional paper if presenting more than one paper at the conference

  • If a University/Company registers more than 3 participants, a 20% discount will be approved.

*Note: Only papers that successfully pass the peer review procedure will be published.

**Note: The participation is free of charge for the ESI Postdoctoral Fellows

The fee includes:

Admission to the conference, one paper to be presented, copy of the conference program, conference certificate, book of abstracts, publication of an accepted paper in the online conference proceedings or/and journal publication.

In-person Presentations will be organized into academic sessions at the University premises. Every presenter will have 10 minutes for presentation and an extra 5 minutes for discussion. The presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint within 10-15 slides in English/Spanish language.

Online Presentations

Zoom Online Meeting platform will be used. Every participant will receive an invitation to their email address.
